But neither determines success\u2014you could have a massive, highly polished e-book that sells poorly or a smaller one that sells exceptionally well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It all depends on your marketing, your target audience, and how well what you offer resonates with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Newsletters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Believe it or not, paid newsletters exist!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And more than that\u2014they are a fundamental part of digital product sales, even though they are more exclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newsletters are usually much cheaper than full courses and e-books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s quite common to find them priced between $0.20 and $4. Selling them for more than that can be challenging, but it\u2019s not impossible\u2014some go for hundreds of dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I personally recommend that only experienced professionals in their field work with newsletters. <\/strong>They may seem like the simplest digital product to create, but they can be deceptive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selling newsletters is a weekly commitment, so even though the content is simple, it still demands a lot from the creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to keep a constant eye on market trends to always have relevant topics and avoid losing subscribers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Podcasts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Podcasts are also part of digital product sales, though they are not as popular as courses, e-books, and newsletters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is largely due to the podcast format itself but also because of <strong>the vast number of free podcasts available online.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s tough to compete with free podcasts, many of which have been running for years as part of larger marketing strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of this, free podcasts already provide a huge amount of content, making people hesitant to spend money on something they can get for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if you want to work with paid podcasts, there is still a market\u2014you just need to stand out significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Webinars and Talks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is another interesting segment that started gaining traction in the post-pandemic world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Webinars and talks were not very popular a few years ago. However,<strong> it is a generalist platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It also allows the sale of licensed products, enabling Affiliate Marketing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there\u2019s an important restriction: a licensed product cannot teach customers how to sell the same product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, Hotmart does not allow a course that teaches people how to sell that exact same course, as this would resemble a pyramid scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than that, Hotmart is quite permissive\u2014you can sell anything that isn\u2019t illegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To start selling,<strong> simply sign up on their website and set up your account.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Udemy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83e\udd11 Seller fee: Revenue-sharing model, calculated case by case<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Udemy is also an excellent platform for selling online courses, but it is <strong>more specialized<\/strong> than Hotmart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professionals seeking highly specific courses in their field often look on Udemy first.
