You can find the full version directly on the website.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some information, such as the fact that the wood used is MDF and the paint is electrostatic, wasn\u2019t in the initial description.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, this main description is much longer and provides a more detailed breakdown, similar to a product specification sheet, also included in e-commerce sites.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Writers typically receive general product specifications and develop the longer description based on these.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the basic understanding of product descriptions in e-commerce. Here\u2019s what\u2019s in that description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notice the difference. Only two paragraphs mention the product: the second and the last. The last paragraph only contains a CTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A well-crafted product description in e-commerce helps move your product to the top and appears in multiple searches within the marketplace.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first example demonstrates this; the product shows up not only for the search \u201cside table\u201d but for many others within the marketplace.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Helps with Understanding&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The main point about product descriptions is that their primary purpose is to answer questions in a conversational way.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, we often talk about how conversational marketing delivers the best results.
